好的乱文，总是母亲在伊始为了维持形象、保全世俗人伦关系压抑自己，并规劝儿子。这是理智的责任感所决定的；最后，在情欲的感召下，从半推半就到完全释放，中间欲望固然占据关键因素，更重要是性欲与亲情融合的爱情、加上违背禁忌的快意等多重情感交织，最后冲决成人间大爱。这，才是乱伦的境界和精髓所在。
如果母亲生性本就人尽可夫、道德感极淡漠，那么，这种结合也不过是性欲促成，和通常的男女交欢，也就没有区别了
